Do I need to pay for Ableton Live to take this course?
Ableton is free for new customers for 30 days.
After the free trial, we recommend the Intro or Standard version of Ableton Live. All lessons are taught in Ableton. Students can get up to 50% off with Ableton’s education discount. Details of how to access the discount can be found in the course.
Can I use Logic Pro, FL Studio, or another DAW instead?
This course is designed for Ableton Live. You may be able to follow along using another DAW, but all demonstrations and project files are built in Ableton.
Does this work on a PC?
Yes! The course works on both Mac and PC. Ableton Live is fully compatible across platforms.
Can I take this course on an iPad or tablet?
No. We strongly recommend using a laptop or desktop with a full version of Ableton Live for the best experience.
What skill level is this course?
This course is beginner-friendly but designed for those who have experience in DJing. The course has been created with DJs in mind, so some experience in DJing will help you better understand this course.
Will I get feedback on my tracks?

Just a laptop/computer, headphones, and a copy of Ableton Live.
