Hercules Announce DJControl T10

Hercules DJControl T10

Hercules has just dropped the DJControl T10 at NAMM, and we got an exclusive chance to give it a hands-on tryout on the show floor.

The big headline news is those huge 10-inch motorised platters. While we’ve had plenty of motorised controllers before, like the DDJ-REV7 or Rane One MKII, this takes things to a whole new level. It’s basically almost like having two proper vinyl turntables built into your controller, and that extra size gives you a lot more control and a better feel when it comes to scratching and beat-juggling. These platters are belt-driven, which is standard for motorised controllers and helps keep the weight down, making this whole unit fairly portable.

In use, these platters over decent torque and feel tight and responsive.  This is also partly down to the Dr Suzuki slip mats and sheets that come included as standard.

Beyond just the platters, the rest of the controller follows a familiar battle-style layout that we’ve seen on controllers like the Hercules T7, but it’s been expanded to include more effects and dedicated stems controls.

The exact launch date and price are yet to be confirmed, but we’ve been told to expect this to come in at under $1500, which would make it a pretty tempting bit of kit for any scratch DJs.
